How can i fix my printer spooler, my computer is telling me its not in service? -

May someone please help me, I really need 2 print out some school work.

Try this to fix it. Go to Start / Run and type in quot;services.mscquot; then press Enter or click OK. In the window that opens (Services) look for quot;Print Spoolerquot; on the right Right-click quot;Print Spoolerquot; and select quot;Propertiesquot;. Click on the quot;Recoveryquot; tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to quot;Restart The Servicequot;. Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say quot;1quot; in them. Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you re good to go. Go back into the properties of the quot;Print Spoolerquot; tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately. The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

there are too many fixes for this, from hacking the registry to reinstalling windows If you do a Google search you will see what I mean

How can monitor/spy any content that comes out of my printer? -

In our house, we have 3 computers and 1 printer. Is there a way I can know or spy what is coming out of my printer ?

If there s a central computer that prints all things people want to print from their computers, you could set it up so it holds copies of everything printed. But I m sure glad you re not living in my house: if I d find you spying on me I d kick you to the curb.

Is the colour laser printer much more efficient in running than an ink one? -

I do lots of colour printing and spend a fortune on ink cartridges, was wondering if it wouldn t be better to buy colour laser printer. Is it worth doing it? Thank you.

Generally speaking, laser printers cost much less to print than inkjets, so it would be a good idea.

lasersjets are cheaper to run! the cost of consumables in an inkjet can eat you alive!

Laser toner is more expensive than ink, but you can get alot more pages out of one toner cartridge, some where about 2,400 pages. while on an ink machine you would need to buy a lot more ink to do the same. If you buy a laser printer I would first check the price of each toner to see how much you will be spending each time you have to replace them. the machine might be cheap, but the ink is super expensive, but you can pay alittle more for a machine and less for the toner. also look and see how much the drum is.

I bought a black printer cartridge about 3 weeks ago and the black printing is already fading, why? -

I haven t printed much since I got the cartridge about 3 weeks ago.I tried the trick of taking the cartridge out and putting it back in a few minutes later. I heard that this is supposed to make the printer think that there is a new cartridge. I also tried to shake it up for a while, but the black printing is still fading. What the hell is going on? Why should I have to worry about this?

read http://www.ccs-digital.com/inkjetcare.as… for possible answers. Either your black printhead is partially clogged because you dont use it enough or the cartridge itself contained very little ink or poor quality. You do realize that today s ink cartridges contain a lot less ink than they used to, right? I watched someone set up a brand new printer with brand new cartridges. He printed a single 4 x 6 photo and the printer already said he was out of cyan.

If you tried everything and everything failed, you can just simply change the font color of whatever your printing to something else, like gray 80%, and your printer will use the colored cartridge by default, assuming you have a working colored cartridge in the first place.

I have one suggestion for you, please try to follow these instructions below: 1) Turn on the printer; take out the cartridges and shake them; 2) Turn off the printer for a few minutes; 3) Turn on the printer, when it says quot;insert inksquot;, and then insert the compatible cartridges one by one, making sure the cartridges are sitting completely in the slots.

Do a Cleaning cycle, you may have to do it a few times. Then Get a CISS for your printer. It will save you TONS of MONEY, never change a cartridge again and it will pay for itself in a month. http://www.inkproducts.com/ink-store/

How do you delete a printer installed on a network computer for all users? -

I have a network with 130 computers and I have certain network printers that need to be installed for every user on a workstation. For those of you who have dealt with this issue there is a great solution. You use the following command line script (rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /ga /n) and it will install any printer that you choose. Here s the problem. I want to delete a couple of the printers that I added but are no longer used. Is there a global way to delete a printer? Otherwise I have to go in as each user on each computer and delete it.

Unless you have remote management software installed across your network, you ll have to go around and pull them all out individually. You could recruit a few power users to help you out to minimize the # of machines that you need to touch.

First you need to have Permissions as a net-work administrator. Then you go to the Network and open the Printer module and deactivate the printer in question. simple as that!

How do I print out maps for a party invitation? -

I want to crop a portion of the map from google maps or mapquest and then print out 9 or so per page on my printer. Which I will cut up and include with my invitations. How do I do this?

Not knowing what you have for photo editing software (free option of getpaint.net) you could do a quot;print screenquot; and copy into your photo editing software? Then you could use your Word or Publisher software to prepare multiple images on a page? Dont have MS Office? Try openoffice.org Best of luck.

once in the map page: 1. right click the selected map 2. select quot;save image asquot;, save the file to print the file: 3. you can use microsoft word 4. open a new document 5. insert picture from file (insert the map you saved) 6. set the right size of the image 7. use copy and paste to multiply the images 8.print! OK?

Once you have entered the right address on mapquest you decide how detailed the roadmap you want to print. If you are happy with it click file, then click print. simple.

How do I find out what printers are compatible with my windows vista home premium computer? -

Microsoft vista website has link to Vista accredited software and hardware. Most printers should work with Vista especially if you are using USB.

To be honest it it not truly the printer needs to be vista compatible it is it s drivers. Most of the new printers are vista compatible. Here is a link to some printer that are compatiblehttp://help.lockergnome.com/general/Vist…
