How do I fix a printer spooler problem? -

I have a canon pixma printer. After printing one sheet of a document, the printer stops working and a window pops up saying there s a problem with the printer spooler. The printer doesn t work after that. How can I solve this?

You can try stopping and restarting the spooler service (Start, Control Panel, Administrative tools, services) but you may want to uninstall/delete the printer, then install a fresh copy of the drivers from the Canon website.

To take care of spool issues go to http://www.printerproblemsolver.com and download their utility! Their software works with many makes and models of printers (Even Lexmark) and with a few clicks of your mouse it gets rid of the problem fast! No messy dos stuff or opening up a bunch of windows! heres a link for an automatic fix for this: http://www.out-of-warranty.com/print-diagnostic-utility-for-hp-lexmark-canon-dell-xerox-and-everything-else Report Abuse
