Can a printer with ethernet work with a wireless router? -

I would like to set up my printer to my main computer and it has ethernet, so that I could print from my laptop that is wireless. would this work?

No, because the two computers are not connect because there is nothing to receive your laptop signal unless you have a router. There are two ways to do this... First way....(wireless) 1.
