How do you get a borderless printing program for a hp officejet v40 model? -

I have a hp officejet v40 printer, copier, scan, fax combo. I need to know how to get a borderless print program on this model.

there is not program that can correct the printer to do boarder-less printer. You have an older model HP where it is not a matter of the software yet the range of the printer. the cartridges will not go boarder to boarder. the paper feed is not finely configured enough to allow for boarder-less printer. The fact is that boarder-less printing is more a designed feature with a printer, not a software option.

Hi, Try Cheapest Prices Search Engine. If you need to, you can call any merchant with that type of program toll free. I hope this helps you. Lisa

What is the best printer to use in doing mixed media art? -

And what kind of ink is best to use where it will not run when painting, glueing, etc.?

If you dont need photo quality then a good color laser will do fine. Printing will be fast and per page cost low. Since the toner is baked on to the paper, it shouldn t run. However, for real photo quality you need an Epson inkjet. Epson s ink is supposed to last for 100 years and not run. However the ink is expensive. You can get cheap compatibles at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp and they work well for me, but I have never tested whether the ink will run if you paint or glue on it.

Where can I download the printer driver for HP Photosmart 7145? -

I have the disc but when I try to install it on my laptop, it apparently does not work with Vista, only pre-Vista computers. I have looked all over the internet and can t seem to find this particular driver for use with Vista. Please help!

hp.com if at all. Just tried to locate on HPs site and they don t recognise it as all. So it may be too old.

How do I hook two computers to one printer? -

I have two computers. One in my room and one in the living room. Both are wired to the internet. I want them both to use the printer that is on the living room computer. The computer in the living room is having issues (for now) so I was wanting to print something from my room to the printer out there without having to haul the printer into my room to hook it up to just this one. Any advice?

If the two computers are on the same local network then you can connect the printer to one of them and then share the printer over the network. Look that up in the Windows Help, it s not difficult. Another option is to get a small box called a quot;print serverquot; and connect that to your network router, then connect the printer to that print server. However, those don t necessarily work well with all printers, and it s probably overkill for you. The advantage to this method is that you don t have to have a computer (i.e. the one to which the printer is connected if using method 1) on all the time. I m not aware of any other options.

Try sharing the printer (assuming windows) go to Control Panel/Printers and right click select properties. Click on the Sharing Tab, Share the printer and give it a name. Go to 2nd computer, and select add a printer, Network Printer, Browse for printer, and find the one by the name of other computer/printername, install drivers and then set it as default.

If you have both computers connected to the internet, I assume they are connected to a router of some form. What you need to do on both is enable file amp; printer sharing through the control panel under networks for both PCs.

You could set up a home network, so that you can access files on one computer from the other, as well as printers, scanners, etc attached to the other computer.

Whats with the connection of my printer to the computer? -

My printer is a bit outdated, it s an Epson CX1500. But I m ever so loyal to it. I ve already installed the software and everything. The printer s usb cable is already connected and it s on and everything but it keeps telling me that it can t be detected!! Could anyone please help me with this? *note: If it helps more, I m out of black ink. Just saying. In case there s something related.

Which operating system do you use? 1) It could be that the printer connector is not working. 2) Try another cable USB cable 3) Try Centronic plug also known as a parrallel connection. Try to download and load the latest Epson CX1500 drivers for your operating system
