How do I receive a fax on the All in one HP OfficeJet G85xi? -

I can fax out and do all other features, I just can t seem to be able to receive. Got the machine used and don t have a manual and can t find one for free.

Make sure the quot;Auto Answerquot; little light is on. If not, hit the auto answer button.

1) Turn on unit 2) wait until it s done initializing 3) press Setup button 4) Use arrow keys to select Maintenance 5) press Enter 6) Use arrow keys to select Reset to Factory Defaults (or something like that) 7) press Enter The unit will now have all settings back at default, including auto-answer. Unit may not work with answering machine on that same phone line.

they have all the manuals online at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manua… There should be an auto receive button to allow faxes to be received.
