How to print large picture onto many sheets to make poster? -

I have a very large picture that I want to print. If I print it as it is, it comes out on one sheet of paper (8.5 x 11). This is way too small as the image is crunched and everything is squeezed together. How can I evenly divide this image to print onto 6 sheets of paper (8.5 x 11) so that I can put them all together and form a poster from the 6 sheets of paper after it is all printed?

What you want to do is called Tiling. There s a free Windows program called Posterizer which does this. Download it from: http://www.posteriza.com/es/index.php?la… You will need to use a very high resolution image for best results.

It depends on your printer capability. If it supports poster printing feature - you will be able to choose from the printer properties before you choose to send printing job from your PC. Try clicking on the Printer properties to see if you can spot anything like that. Reg the page size - try Page Setup feature from ur application to change to a bigger paper size - if ur printer can support larger media.

Just click on print then before continuing.. change the size into 400% or even bigger if you want
