We have a home printer that is connected to our desk top. We have a wireless router for the laptop. Want to use the same printer for both. How?

Just go to printer properties amp; share it. As long both PC connected amp; the printer is shared, you can print for both PC. If you have firewall, don t forget to enable file amp; Print sharing
