How do I change the ink waste absorber in my Canon i9900 printer? -

I have found no detailed instructions (including in the manual) on how exactly to change the ink waste absorber in my Canon i9900 printer. Also, you have to reset this somehow? I use this printer at my job, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
