How do I set up a printer through ethernet? -

Hello, I am trying to connect my laptop to my HP Photosmart 3200 printer downstairs. I connected my ethernet cable to my laptop (the printer supports networking and is connected to a router) but my laptop didn t detect any printers. Can anyone help me? Also, I am using Windows Vista.

set it up as a network printer. Add new printer and choose network printer option and follow the reading from there.
