Any way to do an iron on transfer withour the transfer paper or kit? -

I want to print a picture to a plain white t- shirt without having to use transfer paper or without having to buy the kit. Anyway of doing this? thanks.

Reverse your picture (if direction matters) as it will come out te other way on the Tshirt It has to be an inkjet printer. Set it to the best resolution, even though this might takea long time to print - the idea is you need to get a lot of ink on the paper. Use the thinnest cheapest copy paper you can get, a recycled paper that s not very white is best. The printing will come out a little damp from the ink. Prepare the shirt by washing it, if it is new, to remove the sizing or stiffening they put in new ones. Iron it. Lay it flat with a few sheets of newspaper inside so the printing does not go through to the back. As soon as the printing is finished, wet the front of the shirt with a damp sponge. It should be damp, not dripping wet. Put the paper on it, ink side down. Smooth it down with the same sponge, making the paper wet. Cover it with 2 layers of plain paper and iron it, using a very low heat and pushing down hard, not backwards and forwards. You will not get a very clear crisp image this way. It is a better method for a quot;posterquot; looking image than for photos.

I have heard that a printout can be ironed onto a tshirt but I can t remember whether it s a laser printout or an inkjet printout. Don t forget that when you iron it on the image on the tshirt will be backward. Copy shops can make backward (flipped) copies for you.
