Can you store a laser printer on its side? -

I am putting my Brother laser printer into storage for about 4 months. It makes storing a lot easier if I place it on its side instead of bottom. Will this ruin it? Thanks !

It should be fine....just remove the toner cartridge first.

The toner is what will be the issue because it will settle on the side. The printer itself will be fine. If you leave the toner in the printer for this period of time, then when you take the printer back out of storage, you will need to do some serious shaking of the toner cartridge to try to redistribute the toner around inside the cartridge.

Nothing will happen but take out the cartridges from printer and keep them at safe place.
