What resolution is money printed at? -
if ur just curiuos then y ask and not google the answer....its not posted so no 1 will counterfit..it also depends on the country
They use plates and printing presses. Or in other words, virtually infinite resolution since a plate can take any shape. There would be no equivalent DPI since you really can t get that kind of resolution. The government body in question is The Bureau of Engraving and Printing. www.moneyfactory.gov Wiki has a nice article and there is more if you use Google. Somehow I doubt there would be much better information than the BEP themselves. There is quite a bit for classroom use and other information from their pages. Shadow Wolf
The concept doesn t apply. Money is printed from engraved steel plates, prepared by specialists called siderographers, and they use lines, not pixels or anything equivalent.
Be careful experimenting, a lot of the new copiers have anti- counterfeiting systems installed. You get a few warnings then it locks up and requires a factory rep. to unlock it.
