How do I remove permanent marker from a piece of paper leaving the underlying laser toner intact? -

I need to know what someone has crossed out using a permanent marker on a photocopy - can you help? is it possible? Many thanks

acetone (nail polish remover) will remove most permanent markers. However - you are dealing with a porous and fragile surface. You run the risk damaging the papers as well. You cannot just simply soak it, you do have to rub and blot the marker off.
