How do I stop Epson printer saying quot; Are you absolutely certain you want to risk your life by using other ink?quot; -

I have found an explaination of how to stop the quot;reminder of how dangerous other inks arequot; but it is so vague I can t get it sussed. Can you give me a step by step guide so that I just say PRINT and it does?

It got on my wick at first, but you get used to it. The only way you can turn it off is to disable the program which monitors the ink levels.

Man, unfortunately, you can t. Epson doesn t put those reminders just for fun. You need to remember that isn t good for Epson the fact that your computer uses different inks, so it tries to tell it to you the most it cans. The same happens with Lexmark, HP, Samsung and Kodak, but they make this big posters in which they say: quot;If you buy a ink that is different from the one we say, your life is going to end when a crazy donkey pushes you towards a canyonquot;. And it s true, actually. Bad inks really damage your printer, but not in such a horrible way. But, whatever, they do. Good printers, like the Epsons, are made to work with good cartridges that give you a good print. If you reload a ink, you re already damaging it. So, here s my answer: try to not to buy different inks, unless your printer is very old and useless and you don t want to invest money on it. Otherwise, buy original. Because it can give you a better print, it can give your printer a shinier future and it will stop those horrible warnings about your life in risk due the different ink, that, by the way, can t be stooped. If you don t want to change inks for originals, resign to a 10-minute round of clicking Cancel , No and No, thanks. I will renew later warnings before hitting the Print button. Good luck, and hope to have been useful.

It doesn t matter what ink you put in the cartridge as long as you use photo ink in a photo cartridge, pigmented ink in a pigmented cartridge ect, you can use Lexmark ink in a Canon, or HP ink in a Epson ect, I done that for years and I had no problem. The manufacturer tells you this so you will buy their ink but the printer is not fussy what ink you use.

Usually each program has a list of preference or settings that can be changed if you want it to talk or not. I hate talking printers, my boyfriend has one of those.

No! Now you ve got me worried about your safety! Maybe you should heed this.

Remember that a human wrote this script, thank him or her for the generosity of thinking about you. Actually he or she are just trying to keep their job. Smile everytime you see this note. You just understood someone s thinking. There are so many other thinks to worry about - pick your battles. We only got one life to live- live it!

what a bossy printer next time it says this too you ask it if it wants to go down the dump it site and show it catalogues of hp printers
