How do I print from a wireless laptop to a wired USB printer? -

I have an HP laptop that uses a wireless router. My other computer with the hardwired USB printer (HP) is connected to the wireless router with the Cat 5 cable.

Any computer that have Windows XP and Vista are a piece of cake. Two ways, you can make the installed printer a shared printer by accessing through the Printer and Fax Setting which located in Start or in Control Panel. Click and make it shared. Another way is to use the wireless laptop and add the printer through a network. Go to Printer and Fax setting, click on add Printer. Go to the 3rd option that want to add via network. You want to go to the last option that say browse the network for Printer. Lastly, you find your private network and click on the printer.

You have to make the printer available on the network. This will be different depending on what operating systems you have, but it is possible.

Set up your printer as shared on the computer it s connected to. Then, on your laptop, go to add printer, and search for it on your network. Really just as simple as if everything were wired.
