Whats the difference between a magenta cartridge and a yellow cartridge? -

i m stuck on whats cartridge to buy. as i am going university soon, and will be printing of essay etc. with some colour. what is the difference between these two cartridges?

magenta and yellow are two different colours, magenta is more a red /maroon colour,your three primary colours, red yellow and blue, ink cartridges use magenta, yellow and cyan.
