How can I print something on my screen if it wont let me? -

Basically, I tried print screen and the software won t let me print anything or copy and paste it. Am I just out of luck? Thanks!

Step1 Open the document that you want to screen print. For documents that do not fit into the window you are looking at, use the arrows at the side and bottom of your screen to move the desired image into view. Step2 Size the screen of the document or page you are viewing by using the zoom function. You can either zoom to a smaller number in order to get the whole image into view, or you can get multiple screen prints of the image and bring them together in your new document. Step3 Press the quot;Print Screenquot; button on your keyboard, which can sometimes be displayed differently but is always some sort of shortened version of those words, such as quot;PrtSc.quot; It may also be necessary to first hit the quot;Functionquot; or quot;Fnquot; key. Step4 Copy the image using the quot;Copyquot; selection of the quot;Editquot; menu or the keyboard shortcut of holding down the quot;Ctrlquot; and quot;Cquot; keys. Step5 Open the document you are pasting the image into. This can be anything on your computer such as an email, Word document or presentation.

If you are using Vista use the Snipping Tool to get a screen capture. Otherwise a print screen should work. Once you press print screen you then have to paste it into an imaging program of some sort--like photoshop.

you have to press Ctrl AND Print Screen buttons down together in order to do a screen shot. that should always work. then go into your document and paste it.
