How Laser printer works in comparison to an inkjet printer? -

Which type of printer would you recommend to students? Why? What are the major differences between the printers?

I currently use a color laser for daily use, good graphic quality (no photo quality) and for the high grade stuff i use a epson photo printer (inktjet) So again, for every day school use, a laser is fine. Just look fo the best price you can get and be sure to use the correct paper, else no printer will give good results...

I would recommend the laser printer because it is cheaper to run, the laser cost more to buy but you will get a lot more pages out of one toner cartridge than the ink cartridge, a toner cartridge yield an average is 2500 pages and cost to buy the cartridge ? now ink cartridges average about 400 pages at how much per cartridge ? go toner it s much cheaper.

Inkjet for students THe differences are prices, speed, quality. :)

lazers are faster in printing, but inkjet are to my experience neater. A student should get an inkjet for better quality.
