I have the same printer and it drove me nuts too. If you look inside where the paper ejects with the lights off and the printer turned off, you will see a red light in there on all the time. What I did is plug it into a power strip and when I am not going to be printing I turn the switch on the power strip off.
I e-mailed Lexmark and they said they would contact me in one business day, but they just e-mailed saying they re working on it. Your solution is not what I m looking for, but it s an idea. Report Abuse
